Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer at Māoriland Film Festival 2017?
Volunteerism – the practice of volunteering one’s time or talents for worthwhile activities, especially in one’s community.
Whilst volunteerism isn’t a word we tend to hear often in NZ it is however a concept we are all familiar with. It’s a vital part of any international film festival and Māoriland is no exception
Behind the scenes of MFF is a fantastic group of individuals, businesses and organisations who volunteer their films, time, services, talents, knowledge, products, facilities etc. We could not function if it wasn’t for our volunteers.
We know there are a lot of people in our community who are keen to be involved in some way so would like to invite you to let us know if you have a particular talent or skill you can contribute.
For example, some of the tasks we require assistance with are: drivers to do airport transfers, local shuttles and Saturday night drop offs; ticket sales prior to and during the festival week; venue set up ushering, assisting with accommodation setup, or maybe you would like to share some baking with our guests!
Or you may be interested in becoming involved is by becoming a Sponsor or Friend of the Festival (more information available here).
If you are keen to help out we would love to hear from you – just fill in the Application Form below and we’ll get back to you.
