One day drama workshop for tamariki with actors Miriama McDowell and Bree Peters! Presented with support from Manatū Taonga.
If you are aged between 8 – 14 and are interested to explore or hone your acting skills for stage and/or screen, this one day workshop is an opportunity for you to learn from two of New Zealand’s top actors!
Miriama and Bree are coming to Māoriland in between performances of acclaimed play “The Wasp” – currently on at Circa Theatre in Wellington. Where they have been lauded for their jaw dropping and captivating performances. They are also experienced in working with young people as alumni of Massive Company – one of New Zealand’s leading youth theatre organisations.
Award-winning actor, Miriama McDowell most recently starred in Whina. She is also known for tv series Head High, films Coming Home in the Dark, The Great Maiden’s Blush, The Dark Horse and No.2.
Bree Peters is best known for her recurring roles on the soap operas Shortland Street as Pania Stevens and in Home and Away as Gemma Parata. She has also appeared recently in Good Grief, Mean Mums and Sweet Tooth.
