Manu Wairere Term 4 Program – Registry Open Now!

Rangatahi Māori who LOVE to act, Dance, sing… ENROL NOW FOR MANU WAIRERE AT MĀORILAND!
Manu Wairere is a weekly Māori Performing Arts Programme for rangatahi ages 5-18yrs. Supported by Māoriland and Creative NZ.
Enrolments for our Term 4 program are open now.
This term we are working on the play Te Kuia me Te Pūngāwerewere by celebrated writer Patricia Grace in both reo Māori and reo Pākēhā with a performance at end of the term.
There are THREE age groups to enrol into. These classes are free to attend but places are limited so be in quick.
Wednesdays starting 22nd October
Pīpī Paopao (5-8yrs) 3:15pm – 4:15pm
Pīrere (9-13yrs) 4:30pm – 6pm
Manu Taiko (14-18yrs) 6:15pm – 7:15pm

Waitahi is an alumni of Toi Whakaari, and has been freelancing as a performer across Aotearoa for the last 5 years.

Tahuaroa Ohia
Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Pukenga, Te Atiawa, Te Arawa, Ngāti Hine
Tahuaroa is a graduate of Te Auaha’s Bachelors of performing arts programme and has been at Māoriland since 2021 as an acting facilitator, game designer and MATCH animator/facilitator.
