MASSIVE THEATRE ACTING FOUNDATIONS WORKSHOPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL-AGED RANGATAHI
“We use our own personal stories & experiences to create compelling theatre.
MASSIVE workshops build performance skills, confidence and creativity, combining acting, improvisation and movement in a playful and supportive environment”.
Massive Theatre Company are a renowned roopu who train rangatahi for theatre, screen and for life!
These Massive theatre workshops are free and designed for rangatahi Māori aged 13 – 18 years. Rangatahi may be taking part in drama classes at school or have done some acting in the past – but even if you haven’t, these workshops are suitable for all levels of experience.
You will learn how to make exciting performance pieces using your own stories and ideas, using Massive’s unique style of theatre-making. We will teach you how to form a great connection with other actors and an audience, helping you to develop as a dynamic performer who people will love to watch on stage.
Massive and Māoriland encourage you to be the best you can be.
