Tell your story through film at our E Tū Whānau Rangatahi Filmmaking Workshops – coming to New Plymouth August 7-8
At our free ETW Rangatahi Workshops you will pick up new skills, find your film voice and learn ways to get your stories out into the world! You’ll make a film in just two days and could win up to $1000 in cash and prizes if your film screens at the E Tū Whānau Rangatahi Film Awards in March 2022.

In our workshop you will learn to:
● Analyse the story structure of a film
● Pitch to an audience
● Write a simple script
● Write a film shot list
● Use camera and sound gear
● Direct a film
● Use Adobe Premiere Pro
● Speak confidently in front of an audience
The film you make at our workshops could be screened at Māoriland Film Festival AND you could win up to $1000 in cash and prizes too!
The E Tū Whānau Rangatahi Film Challenge is an opportunity to tell your story and have your film screen at the Māoriland Film Festival. Whether you’re a pro or it’s your first time. We want you to have a go!
