-Māmā, whānau, Māori midwives, midwives and health practitioners learn the appropriate mātauranga,
tikanga and method of this taonga for the benefit of future generations
-Eliminate cost by learning how to make them
-Help heal Papatūanuku
-Build stronger partnerships with LMC, community and core midwives, whanaungatanga within whānau and community where hapū māmā and pēpi are at the centre of well-being
