Films from Asia at MFF2020

Two thirds of the worlds Indigenous peoples live across the many nations of the Asian continent. In January 2020, Māoriland was able to travel to Taiwan with Through Our Lens to begin to develop our relationships in this vast region. 

The films below are a small sample of stories from the peoples of   Ainu, Bengali, Tao, Kelabit and Iran.
