Actors and Location wanted for short film ‘SOLD’
Set in Manukau Heights ‘SOLD‘ is a short film about immigrants building their dreams in Aotearoa on whenua Māori.
Written by Shuchi Kothari, and to be directed by Pulkit Arora, ‘SOLD’ will be filmed in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) in January 2023 with producers Matilda Poasa and Madeleine Hakaraia de Young for Māoriland Productions.
Actors must be available for some time between January 16 – 30, 2023 in Auckland. (Rehearsals can be arranged on weekends and evenings of weekdays to suit actors).
NO ACTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. YOU HAVE TO BE OPEN WITH A WILLINGNESS TO TRY SOMETHING NEW.

Modest house in Auckland needed for short film ‘SOLD‘ for 5 days between January 16 – 30. Fee available!
House description:
A modest brick and tile bungalow. Quite like the ones kids draw in kindergarten: door in the middle, two windows by the side and a sloping roof.
It’s got “good bones but tired” feel. One wall has been knocked off and replaced with a ranch slider to create “flow” from the living room kitchen into the garden. This latter-day addition makes the front of the house asymmetrical.
The garden has been tidied up a little for a sale, but it’s no bed of roses.
