Māoriland Indigenous Co-Lab Reopens to Indigenous Filmmaking Teams Across Australia
The Māoriland Indigenous Co-Lab (MICL) has expanded its 2026 call-out, with applications now extended to Indigenous filmmaking teams across Australia.
This update builds on the previously announced participation of a Western Australian team, supported by Minderoo Pictures, and opens the remaining place in the programme to Indigenous storytellers from across the country.
Delivered by the team behind the Māoriland Film Festival, the Co-Lab supports Indigenous writers, directors and producers with feature film projects ready to enter advanced development, strengthening pathways for international collaboration and Indigenous-led storytelling.
Applications will now be considered on a rolling basis until the final place in the 2026 programme is filled.
