Work at Māoriland: Toi Matarau – Digital Co-ordinator

Toi Matarau is looking for a Digital Coordinator to support the Toi Matarau team to grow Toi Matarau’s online presence. As the Digital Co-ordinator you’ll be responsible for maintaining the Toi Matarau Online Store and growing sales through our digital channels.

Toi Matarau is a summit for multidisciplinary arts where Māori and Indigenous artists gather, collaborate, are inspired and supported. It is the front face of the Māoriland Hub – a centre of excellence for Māori and Indigenous film and creativity. Tikanga Māori values inform all practices internally and externally.

The gallery has a special focus on Māori artists who whakapapa to, or are descendants of the ART Confederation of Ngāti Raukawa, Te Āti Awa and Ngāti Toa Rangatira. This includes those with a connection to Ōtaki or, who live on the Kāpiti Coast, the greater Wellington region and Manawatū. We also invite artists from other rohe and Indigenous communities to exhibit their work in the gallery and online store.
